What is HealthKey?

HealthKey is a marketplace of health and wellbeing services and content, designs to make accessing healthcare easy and affordable for everyone.

Care providers on the platform offer both essential health care services like therapy, GP access and physiotherapy as well as support for a variety of individual needs from neurodiversity and LGBTQ+ wellbeing to pain management, fertility, addiction, and much, much more.

We work with our ever-expanding community of vetted health providers to help organisations and individual users find care that meets their unique needs.

Organisations also work with us to give their employees, customers and members better access to healthcare and the tools they need to improve their wellbeing. This can be through tailored packages of pre-paid services, health budgets, gym discounts from major chains, hundreds of healthy recipes or workout plans.

Anyone who creates a free HealthKey account gets access to the same discounts, whether you’re a student, employee or just an individual who wants to look after their health.

There's a service I can't find on HealthKey. Can you add them?

Absolutely! If you can't find a health product you are interested in, you can either send us a suggestion once you’re logged in or drop us a message at info@healthkey.health

You can suggest both specific products or be a little more generic. If you'd like to hear about new providers we add to HealthKey, opt in to our new provider emails when you create your account or in your account settings.

Gyms and Leisure Centres

What can I offer my members through HealthKey?

We work closely with gyms and leisure centres to understand the needs of your business, customers and membership structure so that you can offer the most affective combination of support, at the best price.

Typical member perks offered through HealthKey include instant 24/7 GP appointments, physiotherapy, nutrition mental health support and more.

Services are billed per customer, on a monthly or annual basis, depending on your needs. And there are no additional charges based on usage.

How can I onboard and offboard members?

Integrating with HealthKey is designed to reduce admin and maintenance. We've integrated with a number of membership management systems (like Gladstone, Xplor and Mindbody), as well as built bespoke integrations so that onboarding and offboarding is a seamless as possible. How do you charge for employee wellbeing packages?

Employee wellbeing packages are billed per employee, on a monthly or annual basis, depending on your needs. And there are no additional charges based on usage.

What is a health budget?

A health budget is an amount of money given to your employees to spend on the health and wellbeing services available in the HealthKey marketplace. Health budgets are designed to be flexible, so there's no minimum and they can be allocated on a monthly, yearly or one off basis.

You can also add to individual employee health budgets as and when you want, whether that's to offer support for a specific issue or as a thank you.

The best bit? Unlike many other benefit platforms, you're only only invoiced for the money your employees actually spend - if your employees don't spend their health budgets, you are not charged!

How do I make changes to a health budget?

Employee health budgets can be managed through your company settings. Simply log in, click the Account button in the top right and click your company name in the menu, then go to the Settings tab where you'll find the Health Budget section.

How can I onboard and offboard employees?

HealthKey offers multiple ways of onboarding and offboarding employees.

HRIS integration
HealthKey can integrate with 20+ different HRIS providers, including Workday, HiBob, Sage, Personio and more for fully automated onboarding and offboarding.

Invite link
Simply share a unique invite link with your employees, with the option of limiting the number of new accounts and restricting new accounts to your company email domain.

Manual CSV upload
You can also manually upload a CSV with the employees details to HealthKey and send all employees invite emails.In addition to this, you can instantly create, delete and disable individual accounts for more granular control over who from your organisation has access to HealthKey.

Can employees purchase their own care on HealthKey?

Yes they can! All of our users can purchase affordable health care through our marketplace.

When purchasing a service for themselves, they'll will be asked to enter their credit card details.

If you have allocated a health budget, this will be used first and the employee will need to pay the remaining amount themselves.

Can I add my own benefits to HealthKey?

Yes, any organisation can add their own benefits to HealthKey so that your employees can easily find everything their entitled to in one place.

Insurers

What can I offer insurance customers?

Insurance providers can expand their offering with health services which cover the diverse needs of their policy holders, whether that be services for women's health, neurodiversity and cancer support, or more essential health care like doctor and therapy access.

Our thorough vetting process ensures the regulatory compliance of the health care providers we work with, and we handle all of the admin. So you can launch your enhanced offering in a matter of weeks.

Individuals

Can I use HealthKey as an individual?

Yes you can! Anyone can create a free HealthKey account and get access to our vetted marketplace of health and wellbeing providers, where you can purchase affordable health care, often with discounts you won't find anywhere else.

How do I get started?

Can I get a refund?

If you need a refund for a purchase made through HealthKey, please reach out the info@healthkey.health

Where can I cancel my subscriptions?

You can cancel your subscriptions in your account settings. Just log in to your HealthKey account, click on the account button in the top right and click on account settings in the menu. In the account settings page, there's a section called purchases and subscriptions, where you can see all past purchases and manage your subscriptions.

If you cancel a subscription, you will still be able to access the service for the remainder of the latest subscription period.

You can also cancel subscriptions directly with many of our providers - if you do this, just note that it may take a couple days to update on your HealthKey account.

Students

Can I purchase just one of the services included?

While you can purchase any of the three app subscriptions and different therapy packages with discounts on HealthKey, you won’t get anything like the value for money offered through this student discount.

For example, even with our 63% discount on Holly Health (which is available to everyone), the price for a 1 year subscription is £19.99.

Who are the doctors who work for Abi Health?

The doctors available through Abi are practicing physicians, licensed and registered in their country of residence.

Abi connects you with doctors in your home country, or a country of your choice, and we always tell you the name and the specialty of the doctors who answer your questions, so that you can feel confident in the information they provide.

Can I purchase more therapy sessions from Mynurva?

Yes you can purchase additional therapy sessions through HealthKey with a 20% discount!

What happens if I miss a Mynurva therapy session?

If you are unable to attend an appointment you must give 24 hours notice to your therapist and they will arrange a new appointment for you. Just as with face-to-face counselling, if you give less notice or no notice at all, you will lose your appointment as our therapist will have held that time open for you and will be unable to offer it to another client at such short notice.

How does the Holly Health help to change behaviours?

The Holly Health approach to behaviour change is based partly on a cognitive behavioural therapy approach called 'behavioural activation'. Behavioural activation is a type of therapeutic intervention (most often used to treat depression) that focuses on behavioural changes in a client's daily life. It encourages new behaviours which are enjoyable, motivational, and help the individual to make progress towards their longer term goals. Behavioural activation is practical, simple, and very adaptive, it can involve any behaviours, as long as they are positive and useful to the individual.
